Ahead of the upcoming 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has unveiled its comprehensive campaign council structure, featuring prominent figures such as Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu alongside former state governors Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode.

Released through the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre, the lineup designates Prince Tajudeen Olusi as Chairman of the Governance Advisory Council, with Sanwo-Olu serving as Advisory Council Chairman alongside Fashola and Ambode as Co-Chairmen.

Additional key figures on the advisory body include President’s Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, and former Health Minister Adeleke Mamora.

At the operational helm of the campaign council, Sanwo-Olu takes on the role of Chairman, supported by Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Deputy Chairman.

Leadership ranks are further bolstered by Ojelabi Cornelius as Vice Chairman I, Obasa as Vice Chairman II, and Damilola Sonayon James as Vice Chairman III, while former Senator Musiliu Obanikoro assumes the position of Director-General, Rasaq Ajala as Deputy Director-General, and Adekunle Olayinka as Campaign Secretary.

The newly formed council is structured across multiple specialized directorates and sub-committees—ranging from legal compliance and party affairs to administration, diaspora engagement, and traditional institutions.

An official inauguration for all council members is slated for Friday, September 18, at the state APC Secretariat located on ACME Road, Ikeja, Lagos.
