A tragic air crash involving a Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 aircraft, NAF 931, has cut short the life of Squadron Leader Ahamefule Aham Man-Ugwueje, who had just married two weeks prior.
The late pilot had tied the knot with Flight Lieutenant Damilola Adekunle in an elaborate wedding ceremony held in Abuja on September 19, 2026.
According to the details, the aircraft crashed in Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday while on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos with 25 people on board.

The Nigerian Air Force subsequently confirmed that there were no survivors from the 25 passengers and crew members, and officially released their names following the devastating incident.
