Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has boasted that no opposition presidential candidate will secure up to 25 per cent of the votes in the state during the 2027 general election.

The governor expressed firm confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would record an overwhelming victory across Kaduna State, emphasizing that achieving anything less would constitute a failure on the part of the president’s political campaign coordinators and supporters.

Speaking during a broadcast interview on TVC News on Sunday, Governor Sani praised President Tinubu for executing major developmental projects and federal interventions across Kaduna.

Allowing any candidate to even get 25% in Kaduna is a failure on our side because President Tinubu has done for Kaduna something we never dreamt of having, Governor Sani declared.

Urging campaign strategists to aim beyond securing 70 per cent of the state’s total ballot haul, the governor maintained that the current administration’s infrastructure footprints—including key road reconstructions and subnational economic support—will translate into massive electoral patronage at the polls.

Governor Sani also strongly dismissed suggestions that northern voters had rejected President Tinubu, insisting that northern Nigeria remains politically aligned with the administration.

Highlighting ongoing field engagement, Sani criticized major opposition platforms for relying heavily on digital commentary rather than conducting grassroots town hall meetings across rural communities.

According to him, the president’s developmental interventions across the North have solidified grassroots goodwill, assuring that voters in the region are prepared to reciprocate through overwhelming support at the 2027 polls.
