The Action Peoples Party (APP) has made a significant entry into Jigawa State, securing a councillorship seat in the recent local government elections.
This victory follows the party’s remarkable success in Rivers State last month, where it won 22 out of 23 chairmanship positions and 314 out of 317 councillorship seats in the state’s local government elections.
Hon. Auwalu Muhammad Harbo, chairman of the Jigawa State Independent Electoral Commission, made the announcement.
