In a statement, the Publicity Secretary of the Edo PDP Caretaker Committee, Chris Nehikhare, criticized Okpebholo’s claims that his government was launching the construction of the 7.5km Temboga Road, among other projects.
Nehikhare described these claims as deceptive and misleading, pointing out that the road had already been completed by the Obaseki-led administration.

The PDP spokesperson further urged the governor-select to refrain from distorting the achievements of the Obaseki government.
Nehikhare called on Okpebholo to focus on fulfilling his campaign promises by initiating new projects that align with his administration’s vision, if any, for the state, instead of trying to claim credit for work already done.
