Okocha claimed that Fubara has turned the judiciary into a “supermarket” where favorable judgments are purchased to serve his personal interests.
His comments came in response to a recent ruling by the Rivers State High Court, which annulled the APC’s congresses in the state. Okocha alleged that the governor’s influence was behind the court’s decision.

Speaking at a press briefing on Sunday at his residence in Rumuigbo, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Okocha did not mince words in his criticism.
He also pointed out that the presiding judge, Justice Godswill Obomanu, is from the same Opobo community as Governor Fubara, suggesting a conflict of interest and bias in the ruling.
