Buhari Condoles Labour Minister Over Mother’s Death

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his condolences over the passing of Hajiya Hauwa’u Abubakar, the mother of the Minister of Labour and Employment, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi. He described her as an “inspiration to everyone.”

In a phone call on Sunday to Minister Dingyadi, who previously served as the Minister of Police Affairs under Buhari’s administration, the former president conveyed his heartfelt sympathy and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased.

“Her long life teaches us about commitment to family and community, and a life committed to values. These are lessons that will guide future generations. I pray for the peace of her soul, “said the former president in a statement yesterday by his media aide, Garba Shehu.
