Hamas Reacts To Trump’s Relocation Proposal For Palestinians

Hamas has rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to move Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Egypt and Jordan.

In a statement on Monday, Hamas called the plan an “aggressive scheme” designed to displace Palestinians and weaken their national cause.

The group affirmed that the Palestinian people, who have suffered genocide and forced displacement due to Israeli occupation, especially in northern Gaza, remain dedicated to their land and historical rights.

“The Palestinians would not accept any plans that seek to uproot or displace them,” Hamas said.

Hamas also urged the U.S. government to stop backing Israeli policies that violate Palestinian rights.

Additionally, it called on Arab and Islamic countries, particularly Egypt and Jordan, to reaffirm their stance against the displacement of Palestinians and continue supporting their resilience.

“They should support by assisting in rebuilding Gaza and strengthening their presence on their land.”
