Legendary Actor Val Kilmer Dies At 65

Val Kilmer, famed for roles like “Iceman” in “Top Gun” and Batman, passed away at 65 due to pneumonia, as reported by the New York Times.

His daughter confirmed this, mentioning his previous battle with throat cancer.

Kilmer, who began on stage, gained cinematic recognition in the 1980s and enjoyed a diverse career spanning major films and independent projects, including portraying Jim Morrison in “The Doors.”

Despite a reputation for being difficult, he was also described as engaging.

His later health struggles, including throat cancer, were incorporated into his return in “Top Gun: Maverick.” 

Kilmer, who saw his life as “magical,” is survived by his two children.
