Four Buhari’s Ministers, Two Other APC Chieftains Dump Party For ADC

No fewer than six prominent national figures from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), aiming to challenge President Bola Tinubu for power in the 2027 general elections.

These aggrieved APC members, who expressed discomfort with the current administration, joined forces with opposition figures on Wednesday as part of preparations for the next election cycle.

The collective of opposition leaders and the disaffected APC members took control of the ADC’s leadership on Wednesday, officially adopting the party as their platform for the 2027 polls.
