Damagum Reacts To Atiku’s Resignation From PDP

The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Iliya Damagum, has characterized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s resignation from the party as a familiar and recurring event in the PDP’s political history.

Speaking to newsmen on Friday in Bauchi, Damagum stated, “This is not the first time; we’re expecting him back.”

He added that the PDP is neither shocked nor overly concerned by Atiku’s departure, noting that the party has grown accustomed to his repeated exits and returns over the years.
