The video captures the moment a woman who happens to be a nurse was humiliated by union members and told to leave her office and the hospital environment in Edo.
The woman was seen on duty despite the strike declared by National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM).
Nurses and midwives across the country began a warning strike on July 29, 2025, after the government failed to respond to a 15-day ultimatum issued by their union on July 14.

The strike, which involves nurses in public health institutions nationwide, is a result of long-standing concerns over poor welfare and working conditions.
The union is demanding improved welfare, fair allowances, and better conditions for nurses in federal health institutions.
Key demands from the nurses include:
- An upward review of shift and uniform allowances.
- A separate salary structure for nurses.
- An increase in core duty allowance.
- The mass employment of nurses.
- The creation of a dedicated nursing department within the Federal Ministry of Health.
The video has elicited mixed reactions on social media.
