The video captures Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo speaking during an alleged Global Business and Investment summit in Scotland.
Okpebholo made some Gaffes and false statements during the alleged summit
One of the false statements is Okpebholo’s claim of over 2 million people.
He said: “Today am even very happy to hear that we have over 2 million people in UK here”

Although Okpebholo didn’t specify if the two million people were from Edo State or a total of all Nigerians, the statistics is totally wrong if he meant any of them.
According to the UK’s Office for National Statistics, approximately 178,000 people born in Nigeria were living in the UK as of the 2021 census.
A separate report found that 270,768 people born in Nigeria resided in England and Wales in the same year.
More recent reports showed that 141,000 Nigerians migrated to the UK between June 2022 and June 2023.
Another estimate reported that 52,000 Nigerians relocated to the UK in 2024 for work or study.

Okpebholo also made a Gaffe which has gone viral on social media among Nigerians when he said: “Two million people talking to two persons”
The statement describes a scenario that is practically impossible.
Also in the video, Okpebholo turned what was supposed to be a summit to woo investors to Edo State to a 2027 campaign event for President Bola Tinubu.
Many Nigerians on social media reacted to the video with many making a mockery of Okpebholo.
Some blamed the electoral system as they insisted the Edo people never elected him as Governor.
