Rufai Oseni, an anchor on ARISE News Channel’s ‘The Morning Show,’ has alleged that a “politically motivated attempt” was made to silence him by trying to shut down his Facebook account, calling the action “malicious.”
In a post shared on his verified Facebook page on Monday, Oseni appealed to his supporters to act against what he described as an organized effort to silence him.
He wrote:“I need 50,000 people to write to tell Facebook that the attempt to bring my Facebook down is politically motivated and malicious,” he wrote.

The popular broadcaster, known for his direct commentary on national issues, ended with a rally call to his followers, saying, “Let’s do it.”
Oseni further claimed that the attacks against his social media presence were part of a larger plan “to suppress his voice.”
He declared:“They want to silence me,” he declared.
Oseni, one of the ARISE News anchors, has been vocal on topics of governance, accountability, and civic responsibility, often receiving both praise and criticism for his straightforward opinions.
