Some suspected thugs have started threatening Lagos State residents, warning them not to participate in the hunger protest scheduled for August 1 to 10.
In a viral clip on Tuesday, voices, without visible faces, were heard chastising market women and men, urging them to avoid the planned protest to prevent potential destruction that could surpass the damage witnessed during the #EndSARS protest.
“Anybody that is confident should come out on Thursday to protest. Are you the only one hungry?
“If you dare come out for the protest, you will be mercilessly dealt with,” the men in the video warned.
