Anambra Election: Result From Peter Obi’s Polling Unit

The Labour Party (LP) candidate, George Moghalu, lost in the polling unit of the party’s national leader and former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the ongoing Anambra governorship election.

In the result that was announced at approximately 3 p.m. at Polling Unit 019, Agulu Ward 11, Anaocha Local Government Area, the scores were as follows:

  • Nicholas Ukachukwu (APC): 73 votes (Winner)
  • George Moghalu (LP): 57 votes
  • All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA): 38 votes

Mr. Obi, the LP presidential candidate in 2023, had cast his ballot earlier in the day at this same polling unit.
