Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has launched a fresh attack on Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and presidential aspirant, following Obi’s recent defection to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
Wike accused Obi of lacking the leadership capacity required to bring stability to political parties and dismissed the ongoing opposition coalition talks as moves driven purely by personal ambition.

On Obi, he specifically criticised what he described as a pattern of moving between political parties without resolving the internal crises left behind.
During his monthly media briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, the minister emphasized that political choices should focus on public peace and national stability instead of individual interests.
