Kenneth Okonkwo, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), declared on Wednesday that the departure of former presidential candidate Peter Obi to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) will not negatively impact the party.
Speaking in an interview on Arise Television, Okonkwo expressed confidence that the ADC remains a strong contender for the 2027 presidential election and will form the next government despite Obi’s exit.

He further criticized the former candidate’s leadership style and ability to protect his electoral mandate.
Okonkwo accused Obi of changing three political parties within the last six months.
