APC Reacts To Reports On Withdrawal Of Tinubu Campaign Council List

The ruling All Progressives Congress has officially refuted claims suggesting it recalled its newly compiled 2027 presidential campaign roster, dismissing the reports as baseless gossip.

National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka cleared the air through a brief media address on Tuesday, assuring the public that any adjustments to the campaign framework would be communicated through proper party channels.

Addressing speculations that the initial lineup released ahead of the upcoming elections had been canceled, Morka told TheCable that the rumors held no truth.

“It’s rumour. If there is any change to the list, it will be formally announced,” he maintained.

The original announcement of the campaign council had sparked internal discussions and diverse opinions among stakeholders over specific inclusions and exclusions, ultimately fueling talk of a review.

However, the party’s latest statement confirms that the structure remains firmly in place unless an official revision is declared.
