The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday issued a supplementary list expanding both the leadership and general membership of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
According to an official statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the new appointments span multiple directorates, sectoral groups, grassroots mobilization frameworks, and specialized operational wings of the campaign structure.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases a supplementary list of leadership and membership of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), expanding the composition of the Council ahead of the 2027 general election,” the statement read.
The ruling party reaffirmed its determination to build seamless coordination across all PCC units as political momentum builds toward the 2027 general elections.
This latest addition expands upon earlier iterations of the campaign leadership roster.
The foundational campaign team was originally revealed in August 2026, featuring President Tinubu as Chairman, alongside Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as Vice Chairmen, with former Zamfara State Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari serving as Director-General and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as Secretary.
A subsequent modification released in mid-October 2026 adopted a broad “rainbow coalition” strategy, drawing notable political figures outside traditional APC circles into the campaign structure.
Among those appointed were Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike (designated campaign coordinator for Rivers State and the FCT), Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke (Osun coordinator), and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo (Anambra coordinator).
Following the campaign council’s formal inauguration on October 14, 2026, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, additional directorates were created to manage election strategy, infrastructure outreach, health sector engagement, civil society relations, new media, extractive industries, entertainment, intelligence, artisans, labor unions, and religious groups.
Wednesday’s supplementary list furthers this organizational expansion, incorporating more key figures and volunteers to boost field operations and grassroots voter mobilization nationwide ahead of the polls.
The party confirmed that full details of all new appointees have been published across its official communication portals.
