BREAKING: Two Term Reps Member Resigns From PDP

Former Deputy Chief of Staff to former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki, Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State.

Makanjuola, who served two terms as a member of the House of Representatives, representing Isin/Oke-Ero/Irepodun/Ekiti federal constituency from 2003 to 2011, submitted his resignation letter dated July 30, 2024.

The letter, personally signed by Makanjuola, was addressed to the party chairman in his Omu-Aran Ward 1, Irepodun Local Government Area of the state, and copies were also sent to the local government chairman and the state chairman of the PDP.

Recently, a Federal High Court in Abuja discharged Makanjuola and Kolawole Shittu, both former aides to Saraki, from allegations of a N3.5 billion fraud.
