A former member of the House of Representatives for the Somolu Federal Constituency, Wole Diya, has passed away, The Nation reports.
He was 63 years old.

Diya, who served two terms as a representative in the Green Chamber, died early on Friday, August 9, 2024, just days before his 64th birthday, which would have been on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
In addition to his time in the House of Representatives, Diya also served two terms in the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing the Somolu State Constituency I.
He was the younger brother of the late General Oladipo Diya, former Chief of Defence Staff.
