BREAKING: What NMDPRA Did To Edo Refinery Today 

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has granted an operational license to Edo Refinery and Petrochemical Company Limited, located in Ologbo, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area ofEdo State.

The NMDPRA serves as the technical and commercial regulator for midstream and downstream activities in the petroleum industry.

The issuance of the operational license represents the final approval stage from the regulatory authority, allowing the plant to commence full operations as a refinery.

On Tuesday, Ahmed Farouk, the Chief Executive Officer of the authority, presented the certificate to AIPCC, the parent company of Edo Refinery and Petrochemical Company Limited.

Farouk, accompanied by Francis Ogaree, the Executive Director of Hydrocarbon Processing Plant Installation and Transport Infrastructure at NMDPRA, handed the operational license to Segun Okeni, the Head of Technical Operations at the refinery.
