As collation of the Edo State governorship election results continues, Labour Party (LP) deputy governorship candidate, Prince Asamah Kadiri, SAN, suffered a defeat at his polling unit to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Results collated from Ward 1, Unit 6 in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area, showed that Kadiri only managed to secure 25 votes at his polling uni.
In contrast, the All Progressives Congress (APC) garnered 100 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) received 13 votes.
