The Nigerian Army has announced that Brig.-Gen. M.A. Sadiq, the former Commander of the 3 Brigade in Kano, is currently under military investigation for administrative discrepancies during his tenure.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Director of Army Public Relations, Maj.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, on Wednesday in Abuja.
Nwachukwu explained that Brig.-Gen. Sadiq was relieved of his duties to facilitate a thorough investigation.
He emphasized that the Nigerian Army, as a self-regulatory institution, is built on discipline, justice, and accountability.

He further stated that the army maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward indiscipline and will not tolerate any form of misconduct that could compromise its values and principles.
“The Nigerian Army assures both our internal and external publics that the allegations will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate administrative action will be taken.
