How Shettima Was Received In Sweden [VIDEO]

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Sweden for a two-day work visit aimed at enhancing trade and bilateral relations between the two nations, according to his spokesman.

In a statement released late Wednesday, Stanley Nkwocha noted that the Vice President is accompanied by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar, Communications and Digital Economy Minister Bosun Tijani, as well as several heads of government agencies and parastatals.

Nkwocha explained that the visit, initiated by President Bola Tinubu, will involve high-level discussions with key government officials. The Vice President is also scheduled to meet with Crown Princess Victoria and the Swedish Prime Minister.

The focus areas for collaboration between Nigeria and Sweden will include ICT, digitalization, education, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mining.

The Vice President is expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday, the statement added.
