Some residents of Cross River State has been captured scooping petrol from fallen tanker.
This is coming days after many lost their lives in Jigawa State while scooping petrol from a fallen tanker.
Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi reported that approximately 181 individuals lost their lives in the tanker explosion that occurred last week.
He noted that 80 people are still hospitalized, and a total of 210 families have been impacted by the incident, which took place on October 15.
The governor shared this update during a visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday.
The explosion involved a truck transporting petrol from Kano to Nguru in Yobe State, which detonated in Majia, within the Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa.
