Why Tinubu Sacked Five Ministers – Onanuga [VIDEO]

Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy has revealed why five ministers were sacked.

Tinubu surprised Nigerians on Wednesday by dismissing five ministers in a significant cabinet reshuffle since August 2023.

The affected ministers include Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education; Abdullahi Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Jamila Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.

“The president thanked the outgoing members of the Federal Executive Council for their service to the nation while wishing them the best in their future endeavours,” the presidency said in a statement.

Speaking on Arise TV programme, Onanuga stated that the ministers who were sacked were sacked based on empirical facts.
