Tinubu’s Daughter Gets New appointment

Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu and Iyaloja-General, has been appointed as the Ambassador for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education.

The announcement was made by the Commission’s Executive Secretary, Muhammad Sani Idris, during a visit to Tinubu-Ojo’s home in Lagos, as reported by the Guardian.

In a statement from the Commission’s spokesperson, Nura Muhammad, Idris highlighted Tinubu-Ojo’s “passion for supporting disadvantaged communities, particularly Almajiri and out-of-school children,” as a key factor in her appointment.

He also commended her efforts in “promoting trade and commerce” and advocating for resources and opportunities for market women.

In response, Tinubu-Ojo expressed her appreciation, saying, “I am deeply honoured by this appointment and am committed to alleviating the plight of these vulnerable Nigerians.”

She highlighted her father’s dedication to education, calling it “a lasting legacy for Nigerian children”.

She also commended the executive secretary, saying, “I pray for him to succeed in the task ahead.
