This follows Onanuga’s response to Obasanjo’s recent remarks during a keynote address at the Chinua Achebe Leadership Forum at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
In his speech, Obasanjo sharply criticized President Tinubu’s administration, describing Nigeria as a “failing state.”
Onanuga hit back by questioning Obasanjo’s legacy, calling him an imperfect leader and accusing him of overseeing the most fraudulent election in Nigeria’s history.

Speaking in an interview on Nigeria Info FM, Bode George stressed that Onanuga’s disrespectful comments toward Obasanjo, a revered elder, would not go unpunished.
