German President Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier is set to embark on a three-day official visit to Nigeria from December 10 to 12, as announced by the German Embassy in Abuja.
This visit will mark the third high-level exchange between Germany and Nigeria since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration.

Accompanied by prominent industry leaders and senior executives from leading companies in the fields of IT, high-tech, and energy, Steinmeier will engage in discussions with Nigerian President Tinubu and Dr. Alieu Omar Touray, President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission.
In addition, the German President will meet with renowned Nigerian figures, including Dr. Nike Okundaye, known as Mama Nike of the Nike Art Gallery, and Nobel Laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka, during his time in Lagos.
