The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir, has approved the resignation of the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim.
A statement from the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar M. Gidado, confirmed that the resignation is effective immediately.

The statement also noted that Dr. Aminu Hassan Gamawa, the Chief of Staff at the Government House, has been appointed to assume the role of Acting Secretary to the State Government.
Governor Bala expressed his gratitude to Barrister Kashim for his dedicated service to the state during his tenure as SSG.
