This decision was announced in a publication from the FCT Administration, made available by the Special Adviser to the Minister, Lere Olayinka.

In a separate notice, the Minister warned that land allocations to Minority Leader of the House of Representatives Kingsley Chinda, former Senate Presidents Iyorchia Ayu and Ameh Ebute, Senate Chief Whip Tahir Monguno, and 610 others could also be revoked if they fail to pay outstanding Certificate of Occupancy fees within two weeks.

This move follows several months of appeals from the Minister urging FCT residents, particularly those in hybrid areas of the capital, to settle outstanding fees with the FCTA to avoid having their land revoked.
