Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to errorism allegations made by Niger’s military leader, General Abdulrahman Tchiani, against Nigeria.
General Tchiani had alleged that Nigeria was establishing a military camp in northern Borno State, between Munguno and Baga, with the intention of destabilising Niger.

He also claimed that Nigerian officials were collaborating to undermine Niger by setting up training camps for fighters in Sokoto, Zamfara, and Kebbi States.
Furthermore, Tchiani accused Nigeria of hosting French soldiers near Lake Chad.
Sani took to popular social media platform X to react to the allegations of terrorism mad by Tchiani against Nigeria.
He Wrote: The specific claim made by the President of Niger Republic about the complicity of Nigeria in the formation of the Lakurawa terrorist group is baseless.
For a country whose people have suffered over a decade of kidnappings and bloodshed in the hands of terrorists and still fighting,it’s inconceivable that such a terrorist group will ever be harboured here.
Niger President claims are wild conjectures;and hollow,superstitious and imaginary conspiracy theory lacking any credible evidence.
The way forward is for Niger and Nigeria to work together in confronting and extinguishing the common threat.
