Reports indicate that the sole survivor of the crash was found with severe injuries.
The fatal incident occurred around 10:14 am when two buses collided head-on, claiming the lives of 13 passengers instantly. The victims were burned beyond recognition as a result of the collision.
An eyewitness stated that one of the buses, traveling from the Ikare direction, suffered a tire burst, causing the driver to lose control and crash into the oncoming bus, which was carrying fabrics.

Ibitoye Samuel, the Ondo Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), confirmed the accident, stating that 14 people were involved, 13 of whom were burned beyond recognition, while one person was rescued with serious injuries.
