Tinubu Appoints New Rector For Nigerian College Of Aviation Technology

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Danjuma Ismaila as the Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria.

Prior to this appointment, Dr. Ismaila was a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura, according to a statement from Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, released on Wednesday.

The statement, titled “President Tinubu appoints Danjuma Ismaila to head the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology,” highlights Dr. Ismaila’s educational background.

He graduated in 1989 from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, with a degree in Physics, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation. He has also attended numerous courses, workshops, and seminars focusing on civil aviation management and transportation.

Dr. Ismaila is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (UK) and the Air Transport Research Society, among other professional bodies.

The Presidency described him as an expert in air transportation management, transport economic policy, and aviation security.
