Heavy Security As APC Holds NEC Meeting In Abuja [VIDEO]

Leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have gathered at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja for its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

Security has been tightened around Blantyre Street, the venue of the meeting, with armed personnel, including soldiers from the Guards Brigade, cordoning off all access points.

Both vehicular and pedestrian movement on the street have been restricted, while journalists have been denied entry despite an accreditation list being released earlier by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

Expected attendees include President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas.

The NEC meeting follows the party’s national caucus meeting held a day earlier at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
