Traditional rulers in Anambra State bestowed the chieftaincy title “Dike Si Mba” on President Bola Tinubu on Thursday.
The title, which loosely translates to “Hero from another land,” was conferred upon President Tinubu by the traditional rulers of all communities in Anambra State during his official visit to Awka.
The ceremony was led by Igwe Chidubem Iweka of Obosi, the Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council.

President Tinubu arrived at Chinua Achebe International Airport in Umueri around 12:15 pm, where he was welcomed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Deputy Governor Onyeka Ibezim, and other government officials.
During his visit, President Tinubu inaugurated Anambra State’s first-ever Government House, a significant milestone achieved more than 30 years after the state’s creation.
He also inaugurated several other projects completed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
This marks President Tinubu’s second visit to the South-East region this year, following his visit to Enugu State in January.
