Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Prices Nationwide

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a further reduction in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) nationwide, with new prices now ranging from ₦875 to ₦905 per liter, depending on the location.

This latest adjustment, which represents a ₦15 reduction per liter across all regions and partner retail outlets, was posted on the refinery’s official social media on Thursday.

The new pricing applies to all major fuel marketers collaborating with Dangote Refinery, including MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy.

Previously, petrol sold for ₦890 per liter in Lagos and ₦920 in the North East and South-South.

With this new price regime, Lagos residents will now pay ₦875, while consumers in the North East and South-South will pay ₦905 per liter.

A detailed breakdown of the revised prices is as follows:

  • Lagos: ₦875
  • South-West: ₦885
  • North-East: ₦905
  • North-West & Central: ₦895
  • South-South & South-East: ₦905

The Dangote Refinery urged consumers to purchase fuel exclusively from its partner outlets and encouraged Nigerians to report any non-compliance via its hotlines: +234 707 470 2099 or +234 707 470 2100.

The company also stated, “Our quality petrol and diesel are refined for better engine performance and are environmentally friendly.”
