A caucus meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently underway at the Bauchi State Government Lodge in Abuja.
This meeting, originally scheduled for 7 PM, was rescheduled because the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) sealed the party’s national secretariat earlier on Monday.
The FCTA sealed Wadata Plaza, which houses the PDP National Secretariat, due to unpaid ground and tenancy rent.

This action prevented the PDP’s Board of Trustees (BOT) from holding their scheduled meeting, which was meant to precede the ongoing caucus meeting.
Though the caucus meeting is being held behind closed doors, party sources indicate that discussions about the planned National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, originally set for Tuesday, May 27, are a top priority.
It is also expected that the recent sealing of the national secretariat will be addressed during the meeting.
