Senator Ireti Kingibe, representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has stated that the residents of Abuja will hold FCT Minister Nyesom Wike accountable during the upcoming local government elections.
Speaking on Channels Television’s ‘Political Paradigm,’ Kingibe asserted that Wike “does not understand the needs of the people and he is not meeting their needs.”

She further claimed, “The truth is that the people of the FCT resent Wike. They are not happy with his attitude and his failure to meet their needs.”
According to Kingibe, the forthcoming local council elections will serve as a direct referendum on the minister’s performance in the territory.
She declared, “The people will show him who owns the FCT during the council polls.”
