Senator Dickson Backs Natasha’s Return To Senate

Senator Seriake Dickson, representing Bayelsa West, has publicly backed the return of his Kogi Central counterpart, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, to the Senate.

Akpoti-Uduaghan had been suspended on March 6 after a contentious disagreement with Senate leadership regarding a new seating arrangement, which she believed was intended to marginalize her.

The dispute escalated when she accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio on national television of retaliating against her for allegedly rejecting his sexual advances—an accusation Akpabio has denied.
