The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has implemented a second downward adjustment in the pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS), or petrol, within a single week.
The price was reduced by N5 from the previous N895, bringing the new price at several NNPC retail outlets in Abuja (including locations along the Kubwa Expressway, Gwarimpa, and Wuse Zone 4) to N890 per litre.
According to Tribune, NNPC retail outlets in Ibadan, Oyo State, are now selling petrol at N875 per litre.
This latest price reduction follows a previous retail price slash announced just last week by the company, further alleviating the cost burden on consumers amidst fluctuating fuel prices.
While NNPCL stations are now selling at N890 and N875 per litre depending on location, some retail partners of Dangote Refinery, such as AP Ardova, Optima, MRS, and Bovas, are offering a slightly lower price of N885 per litre.
