The 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) Meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently underway at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting is being attended by a host of high-profile party and government officials, including:
- President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
- Vice-President Kashim Shettima
- State Governors
- Ministers
- Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo
- Senate President Godswill Akpabio
- Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas
- Deputy President of the Senate, Jibrin Barau
- Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu
- Members of the National Working Committee of the APC
- Other government functionaries who are members of the ruling party.
According to the meeting’s agenda, key proceedings will include a tribute to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, the swearing-in and acceptance speech by the newly elected National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda and remarks by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
