A couple, Adriana Machado Ribeiro, 42, and Marcone da Silva Cardoso, 26, tragically died after their car plunged off a 1,300ft cliff in Venda Nova do Imigrante, Brazil.
The incident occurred on Monday, August 4, while the pair were reportedly making love inside the parked vehicle.
Police officer Alberto Roque Peres, who is leading the investigation, stated that there is no evidence of foul play.

He told local media: “There were no signs of violence at the scene or on the bodies, and the car’s handbrake was engaged.”

Investigators suspect the couple’s movements caused the car to shift and tumble over the cliff edge.
The car fell approximately 100 meters, ejecting them, before rolling another 300 meters.
The couple, who had been together for about six months, were found naked near the wreckage by a caretaker.
Marcone was a machine operator, while Adriana worked in her mother’s bakery and is survived by her son and daughter.
