Niger Governor Bago Dissolves Cabinet, Retains SSG, CoS

Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, has dissolved his cabinet.

The announcement was made during the State Executive Council meeting at the Council Chamber in Minna.

The governor, while appreciating the members for their services, retained his Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers in his office.

He also directed the former commissioners to hand over the affairs of their ministries to the permanent secretaries.

The reason for the dissolution was not stated.
