Suspected APC Thugs Set Ablaze ADC Secretariat In Ekiti [VIDEO]

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Secretariat in Ekiti State was reportedly set on fire by suspected hoodlums in an attack the party has labeled as politically motivated.

In a video shared on the ADC’s official Facebook page on Tuesday, the party verified that the incident occurred overnight, resulting in the destruction of the building and thousands of plastic chairs.

According to the party’s official statement, the attack was executed by individuals who feel threatened by the ADC’s increasing popularity and organizational capabilities in the state.

The party released a statement, saying, “Our Party Secretariat was set ablaze this morning by those threatened by the rising momentum and formidable organisational structure that the Ekiti ADC is building.”

While calling the act “cowardly,” the ADC insisted, “yet it will only fortify our determination and unity. The formidable Ekiti State ADC has come to stay.”

The timing of the arson coincided with the party’s Reconfiguration and Affirmation Ceremony for its executives across all levels (ward, local government, senatorial, and state).

Despite the extensive damage, ADC leaders vowed their political activities would continue undeterred, adding, “Our spirit remains unbroken; our vision, unstoppable.”

As of the time of the report, the police in Ekiti State have not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
