Cleric Predicts Opay Collapse, Tells Nigerians When To Expect Loss Of Funds [VIDEO]

This video captures a Nigerian pastor predicting the collapse of popular Nigerian Fintech company Opay.

In the video which has gone viral, the cleric claimed that OPay will collapse between December 2025 and January 2026 leading to loss of funds.

The pastor also referred to OPay as “a ritual”.

The video drew reactions from many Nigerians who are using the services of Opay.

Recent news shows OPay had brief downtime in early October but is operational, and it’s shifting focus from e-commerce to fintech.

OPay is a Nigerian fintech company founded in 2018, providing mobile-based financial services like payments, transfers, savings, loans, and POS solutions.

It’s licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and insured by NDIC, serving millions of users and merchants.
