Barbir who is currently working in Nigeria to support and rebuild communities affected by violence called out President Bola Tinubu while reacting to the attack that left over 10 persons dead.
Tension gripped Anguwan Rukuba in the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State following a fatal shooting on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

It was reported that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire, killing an unspecified number of local youths.
A resident, who spoke to Channels Television anonymously, confirmed that the attack took place near the Anguwan Rukuba junction in the evening.
“The attackers just rode past and started shooting sporadically. People were running in different directions,” the source stated.
