The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), headed by Abdulrahman Mohammed, is currently holding a meeting with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, at the party’s Wadata Plaza headquarters in Abuja.
Wike, who is recognized as the party’s “national leader,” stated that the purpose of the gathering was to confirm his total commitment to the NWC as the PDP prepares for the 2027 general elections.
During the session, he encouraged the committee to develop strategic initiatives aimed at electoral victories to ensure the party remains a major force in the political landscape.

The former governor of Rivers State also emphasized the importance of maintaining peace within the ranks, urging the leadership to keep reaching out to those who may have distanced themselves.
He advised them to continue reconciliation efforts with members who departed due to “fear of the unknown.”
Regarding ongoing litigation, the Minister expressed confidence, telling the committee that “with God on their side, they have nothing to fear regarding the existing legal cases.
